On December 22nd, our IB students participated in the student-led bake sale which was held as a key component of the annual Christmas fair. Students sold various baked goods in hopes of raising money for children in Burkina Faso who are currently living in extreme poverty. Students were motivated to work hard all through the fair in an attempt to make healthcare and education more accessible to all. Their hard work was certainly worthwhile, since the MYP and DP students managed to raise more than 1000 kn. All of us hope that the event is going to become a long-running school tradition centered around philanthropy and that it is just as successful next year!
