Na\u017ealost, \u010desto mo\u017eemo \u010duti izjave da na psihoterapiju idu samo osobe koje su vrlo poreme\u0107ene i koje su slabi\u0107i jer ne mogu samostalno rije\u0161iti svoje probleme. Takvi i sli\u010dni mitovi velikim su dijelom posljedica neto\u010dnih informacija kojima smo izlo\u017eeni u medijima (npr. filmovima), koji su za mnoge ljude jedini izvor informacija o ovoj temi. S nekim psihi\u010dkim te\u0161ko\u0107ama ljudi se ne mogu nositi sami niti im u vezi njih mogu pomo\u0107i njihovi bli\u017enji. Bliske osobe u pravilu ne\u0107e biti objektivne, a nisu ni obrazovane o vje\u0161tinama potrebnima za pru\u017eanje pomo\u0107i onima koji imaju ozbiljne psihi\u010dke te\u0161ko\u0107e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0160to su psihoterapija i psihoterapeuti? Psihoterapija se odnosi na profesionalan odnos u kojem se psiholo\u0161kim putem rje\u0161avaju odre\u0111eni psihi\u010dki problemi. Postoje razli\u010diti oblici psihoterapije kao \u0161to su individualna i grupna psihoterapija, psihoterapija parova i obiteljska psihoterapija. Psihoterapeut je stru\u010dnjak obrazovan (naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e pet godina) za odre\u0111eni psihoterapijski pravac. Naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e se radi o psiholozima, no psihoterapeutima mogu postati i psihijatri, socijalni pedagozi, socijalni radnici i dr. Psihoterapeuti bave se psiholo\u0161kim savjetovanjem i psihoterapijom, pri \u010demu savjetovanje uklju\u010duje kra\u0107i postupak podr\u0161ke vezane uz prolazne psihi\u010dke smetnje, a psihoterapija traje dulje i usmjerena je na pomaganje osobama koje imaju psihi\u010dki poreme\u0107aj ili psihi\u010dku bolest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Postoji mnogi psihoterapijski pravci koji se razlikuju po teoriji ili teorijama na kojima se temelje. Ve\u0107ina ih se usmjerava na prihva\u0107anje samoga sebe i poticanje na promjene u \u017eivotu. Svaka je osoba jedinstvena i stoga ne postoji jedinstveni recept i rje\u0161enje za svaki problem, ve\u0107 klijent i psihoterapeut zajedno utvr\u0111uju ono \u0161to klijentu odgovara. Me\u0111utim, psihoterapeuti odre\u0111enog usmjerenja naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e primjenjuju odre\u0111ene tehnike u svom radu. <br>U popisu dodatne literature ispod ovoga \u010dlanka mo\u017eete prona\u0107i poveznice na kojima mo\u017eete pro\u010ditati vi\u0161e o trima poznatim psihoterapijskim pravcima i tehnikama kojima se koriste psihoterapeuti tih usmjerenja: kognitivno-bihevioralna terapija, dijalekti\u010dko-bihevioralna terapija i terapija prihva\u0107anjem i posve\u0107eno\u0161\u0107u.
