GIMNAZIJA, ZAGREB<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>Entry into\nthe school building<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Entry and\nstay in the actual school building <\/strong>is allowed\nto students and school staff only. <strong>Exceptionally,\n<\/strong>parents\/assistants\/caretakers of students with disabilities can enter\nschool and other persons as well, only in case of great necessity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Records will be kept on the entry into and\nexit out of the school.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All students and school staff are obliged to\nhave their temperature measured prior to entering the school building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students and school staff are not allowed to\nenter or stay in the school building if: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>they have increased body temperature\n(&lt;37,2 ), respiratory problems, and\/or symptoms like coughing, loss of sense\nof smell and taste, sore throat, diarrhoea, vomiting,<\/li><li>they are required to go into\nisolation, <\/li><li>they are aware they have been infected\nby COVID-19.&nbsp; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All persons entering the school are obliged to have a face mask on\nand disinfect their hands and shoe soles upon entry. It is obligatory to have\nthe mask on during the entire stay in school, as well as to keep the\nappropriate physical distance from other persons.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Physical\ndistancing <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be as efficient as possible in\nimplementing prevention of the COVD -19 infection, we remind students of the\nimportance of physical distancing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>when entering\/exiting the school\nbuilding, <\/li><li>by following the floor signs\nindicating the walking direction in the school corridors ,<\/li><li>by following the signs pointing to the\nproper way to access the toilet facilities, <\/li><li>by following the signs pointing to the\nproper way to access the school library,<\/li><li>by following the signs pointing to the\nproper way to access the school cafeteria,<\/li><li>during their time spent in the\nclassroom, with a special attention to a specific sitting arrangement.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hands\nsanitation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regular hand washing with water and soap will\nbe possible in every classroom. Hands are washed: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>prior to entering a classroom, <\/li><li>before and after preparing food, <\/li><li>before eating, <\/li><li>after using the toilet facilities, <\/li><li>when returning to school after being\nout. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Hands should be washed in the appropriate way:\nhttps:\/\/bit.ly\/2ThY08M.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Borrowing\nstationary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the Instructions from the HZJZ (Croatian\nInstitute of Public Health), all students are to use their own stationary and\nare not to share it with their co-students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Classes\norganization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Students attending the International\nBaccalaureate Programme (both MYP and DP) will come to school physically every\nworking day, they will be on-site every day, and always in the morning shift,\nunder the time table for that specific day. Only practical work for chemistry,\nbiology, visual arts, DD or similar student groups will be held&nbsp; in specialized classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Big break will be organized at a different\ntime for different grades, all under the specific and prepared timetable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Classes will be double, whenever possible, in\norder to reduce the number of teachers entering a classroom in a day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Extracurricular activities and electives will\nbe held on-line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Classroom\nsanitation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>at the beginning and the end of every\nshift, appropriate sanitation procedures will be implemented to clean the\nclassrooms under assigned instructions,<\/li><li>during a working day, classrooms will\nbe repeatedly aired, regularly during big breaks and at least for 5 minutes\nduring every school period,<\/li><li>hand washing with water and soap will\nbe possible in every classroom, paper towels will also be available,<\/li><li>specific isolation rooms have been\nprovided as well as the teachers to stay with students until the arrival of\ntheir parents.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/global-covid-19\/schools.html\">https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/global-covid-19\/schools.html<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear IB students, Welcome (back) to our school!!!
