This Year’s Personal Projects

In the final years of the Middle Years Programme (MYP), students get the chance to explore a topic of their interest by creating a project. These projects allow them to explore their passions, research them and finally showcase their work. After dedicating months to these projects, students reach the final step of their projects by presenting them.

This year, after working on their projects for a long time, the students finally presented their work on the 14th of March. The presentations took place from 10:45 to 12:15. To begin, some students had the opportunity to present their projects individually in front of an audience, meaning they spoke about the projects, shared their creative process, and offered advice to younger students who watched the presentations.

After these presentations, the remaining students displayed their work on individual stands. Each stand was thoughtfully designed to highlight the final product, with the product on display as well as a poster, allowing the audience to explore each student’s personal style and passion. Students at the stands also engaged with visitors, explaining their work and discussing their experiences.

The event featured many impressive and inspiring projects. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to show  their passions and reflect on everything they had learned throughout their MYP years. Their presentations were also an opportunity for younger students to learn about the personal project.

The students’ presentations were a great opportunity for students and teachers to admire the achievements and personal growth of other students, while also sparking interest and inspiration in younger students.
